Haemophilia Society- Madras Chapter - VHS with the help of iVolunteer

Crew - iVolunteers.

After so long waiting, it happened, I was a part of an NGO. I joined in an organisation named as iVolunteer. It gave me a chance to put some of life for the social services. And today, this is the first one being in part of an event like wish fulfillment.

The event has been organised by the iVolunteer. Lets have a look on the mail I have got from them.

"Let us  be a part of the event on Wish Fulfillment for Haemophilic Children on 11th May at Voluntary Health Services Adyar between 3 p.m to 5 p.m.

Granting a wish for children afflicted with Hemophilia.Yes friends we have planned to do wish fulfillment for Haemophilic children. We did wish collection drive  on 27th April at VHS Hospital, Adyar at the Hemophilia dept. Nearly 10 children along with their parents participated in the programme. The objective was once we collect their wishes we will pass on the information to volunteers and interested volunteers can fulfil their wishes."

Later I collected some money through my colleagues to fulfil one of a wish of the children. I really appreciate their concern and keeping their trust on me.

With the help of them, I bought one of the items and started to participate in the event by rushing towards the VHS. I am little late to the event. A group of people already circled there with parents and children.

First there is an old day, who is the member of the society, given some introduction about the haemophilia. It added some more facts about Haemophilia in my mind repository. Hardly it’s about 15 minutes.

Later, there is a small interaction program between the parents and children. We have also some play with the kids before. It was funny, mostly the elephant game. 

I thought, I need to improve in interacting with them.

My Good Work

                 "Akshayapatra", I heard this word when i went to a Bangalore for an interview. I am in a disappointment that I was not selected. I am on the way back to the Hyderabad, waiting for the bus at the travels. Some people are in a deep discussion. As they were chit chatting in my native language reluctantly it catched my attention. There I hear this word, AKSHAYAPATRA, an NGO provides a mid day meals for a children. Put the reminder in my mobile to look it later.

                After a few days..... I had searched their website....worth interesting. Make me feel that I can trust them.

                 I had made my contribution. I had started this year with the good work. Those words are alleviating me.

My First Lines

First of all, I have to explain you, which provokes to start this blog. Today, I got a mail from Joy of Giving Week(It is a national wide NGO).

The mail shows the way to start my first works in helping the people. The mail comprises "I hope you've seen the online version of the Smile Deck. Would be really fantastic if as many of you as possible can visit this Smile Deck link today, shuffle the deck, pick a card at random, do whatever comes on the card and by evening, comment on the page sharing".

I got the gratitude card. I have to update my daily gratitude to the diary. So I chose this way. At most, I will keep my word.
